  CHOOSE YE THIS DAY, WHOM YE SHALL SERVE

 

 

 

Beloved:  

 

Let us contemplate the pure meaning of these timeless phrases:  

“Only One, not two.” 

 

 

“Choose ye this day, whom you shall serve.” 

 

 

“Blessed are the meek and ‘pure in heart’ for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.”

             

            Once, I had a wonderful opportunity to Remain in Principle…in the face of what seemed impossible circumstances.  It had appeared, that someone, whom I thought was a good friend of mine, stole or extorted several thousand dollars from me.  I had a choice at that moment to either expose this individual, who was a known professional, threaten to report him and cause damage to his career; thereby exacting my revenge and getting my money back this way…or free him in Love.  Perhaps, I could have even taken him to court, and I knew that I could win. 

   

My Higher alternative was to detach from this appearance ~ to give it no power, whatsoever, or authority in my life, and rely upon God ~ the totality of all supply ~ the Protector and Sustainer of my wealth.   Indeed, I ran through the gamut of feelings, from hurt to shock ~ anger to confusion and on and on, and at times felt very justified in these feelings.  After all, he had taken from me, something that was rightfully mine.  And at that time, I appeared to really really need those several thousand dollars.  Now, as I looked within and pondered my choices ~ I realized, that if someone had stolen an earring or something small, I would have shrugged it off, and said:  

 

“Well, I guess they needed it more than me.”

 

 

I could have released it with no problem, and simply gotten another one ~ knowing only my Infinite wealth in all things.  Desiring to handle this situation from the Higher Place, I ultimately realized:  

 

“If Principle applies in one place or situation, it applies everywhere; and to everything.  There is no big nor small, nor any exception or special cases.  Here is where I had the Divine opportunity to sustain the Higher Knowing ~ choose to identify with the Truth of God and my invincible and inexhaustible Source ~ or succumb to appearances.

 

 

             I then decided, here is my Divine opportunity to increase my consciousness beyond any limiting idea, and know my wealth ~ know how rich I always am ~ to know that my moneys are always protected; and I could never be stolen from or impoverished by anyone or anything.  And even no matter what was taken, Divine Supplying Power would and will fill me to the full and then some, without delay ~ more than making up the difference.  Otherwise, I would be playing into the duality idea of lack and supporting it, believing in it and going after this person.  

           

“Choose ye this day, whom ye shall serve.”  

 

            Upon this revelation, I proceeded to go into meditation; and, I thanked my friend for providing me with, yet, a greater opportunity to know the Truth, within myself, and to know the power of my God and my wealth…and to realize the perfection in all.  And every time the event came into my mind, I used it to build up my faith and my awareness of my eternal abundance.  I blessed, forgave and released my friend to his problems; and gave thanks for his perfect healing, as well…that he would become so successful and wealthy, he would never need to take from anyone again. For there is only God ~ only one, not two ~ not God and appearances.

   

Suddenly, I got a call from my friend after a month of no communication, whatsoever ~ saying he wanted to rectify with me ~ return me the money; and would I forgive him ~ accepting the incident, as an error of judgment, while confusing me with another client.  And I said:  

 

“Sure!”

   

I immediately recognized the awesome power of Principle in action.  And we have made amends with no hurt or damage between us, for there is only God, and only Love ~ always and ever in the face of all appearances.  This is the only realization, the only illumination we ever need to come to…and through our triumphs over all appearances, we shall all inevitably come to this formidable place of strength.  

 

                As a wonderful conclusion ~ I took this extra money, {for by now, Principle had already replaced all losses}, and I bought a gorgeous and shimmering 500 Watt marble lamp…just to celebrate how lit up my consciousness had become.  

 

CHOOSE YE THIS DAY, WHOM YE SHALL SERVE  

 

   

Let us go within now, to that sacred secret place of the Most High, and turn our minds to some seemingly impossible circumstance in our lives ~ some seemingly unrectifiable, unforgivable condition or some long lingering hurt.  And let us know that right where that condition is ~ is now only the complete covenant and Presence of God actively healing, mending and restoring all.  Let us give our thanks and our Love to this person or this condition now, as God’s perfect channel for our greater realization, for coming out of any idea of separation from Infinite Supply.  Let us say together silently:  

   

            I give no power now ~ to illusions of lack, denial, suffering or limitation.  They never were, and they never shall be.  I see and know now ~ only the full Presence of God in all.  I know each and every appearance is only my opportunity to express the rich Love and victory that I am.  I rely upon Principle completely, and I am fulfilled and restored in all my ways.

 

 

            I see only God before me.  There is no other ~ no big ~ nor small…and no situation, whatsoever, that cannot be healed in Perfect Love.  I live to serve a perfect Principle sublime, and I apply Divine knowing in every situation.

   

I unleash my Kingdom, now.

   

And so it is!
